Job Summary The Human Resources Generalist II collaborates with the HR team to drive HR processes, policies, and strategic initiatives that support business objectives.
Job Description Duties:
- Support HRBPs in delivering excellent service through timely execution of HR business objectives. Establish priorities and respond to issues with urgency.
- Review and enhance people processes using best practice HR principles and metrics to support business goals.
- Provides internal customer service.
- Coordinate and maintain effective communication channels.
- Organize events to boost employee engagement.
- Collaborate with the Talent Acquisition Team to manage employee onboarding, including background checks, drug screening, HRIS data input, and orientation support.
- Serve as the subject matter expert for HRIS-Workday.
- Assist with performance evaluations, feedback, and goal setting.
- Support employees with understanding leave policies and ensure proper processing.
- Manage employee records and process them in the HRIS system as needed.
- Provide necessary reports and backup for internal and external auditors.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, business, or a related discipline. SHRM Certification preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of HR experience, with an emphasis on HRIS administration preferred.
- High degree of integrity and discretion in handling sensitive and confidential information.
- Excellent customer service and relationship-building skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office software and HRIS systems such as Workday and ATS.
- Strong presence and ability to quickly gain clients' confidence, maintaining confidentiality.
- Ability to see the big picture while paying attention to detail and ensuring follow-through.
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- Broad understanding of federal and state HR laws, compliance regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to create presentations and written communications for internal publication and present to all levels of the organization.
- Excellent teamwork, maturity, and leadership skills.
