UMass Memorial Medical Center is seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Cardiac Surgery Service Line Manager to oversee and coordinate the delivery of exceptional clinical care within our cardiac surgery service line. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of care are provided to all patients through the effective coordination of clinical services, while promoting seamless communication between physicians, staff, and patients. The role also involves strategic leadership to foster growth and development within the service line. About Us: We are the largest academic medical center in Central Massachusetts and the region's only Level 1 Trauma Center. Our team serves a diverse patient population and offers advanced cardiac surgery services, including open and endovascular aortic repair, coronary revascularization, structural heart interventions, and mechanical circulatory support, including a destination VAD (Ventricular Assist Device) program. We provide high-quality care across a broad spectrum of perioperative cardiac surgery, from high-complexity tertiary and quaternary care services to routine surgical cases. We perform approximately 400 cases annually. Our Advanced Practice Provider team is integral to patient care, serving as the first point of contact and providing care in the ICU, post-operative floor, and outpatient clinic. Our surgically trained APPs also provide operative first assisting and perform endoscopic vein harvest in all cases, ensuring seamless, multidisciplinary care. Key Responsibilities:
