Responsibilities

Peraton Labs is seeking a Technical Go-to-Market Lead to develop and implement a Go-to-Market strategy for a R&D (Research and Development) prototype developed by Peraton Labs with DARPA funding. The selected individual will be responsible for working with the technical team to develop an understanding of the prototype system and its differentiators, studying the market and the competition, identifying promising government as well as commercial customers, and engaging with these customers to develop qualified leads.

The prototype R&D system is a next-generation AI-enabled networking Command and Control (C2) system that automates network configuration, monitoring, and security based on high-level business intent. It has broad applicability beyond the DoD space for enabling rapid and dynamic setup, adaptation, monitoring, and tear-down of networks to satisfy business requirements. The Technical GTM Lead will be expected to have sufficient skills to understand the capabilities and differentiators of this prototype, study competitors' products, and develop a pathway as an embedded entrepreneur for productizing the R&D prototype capabilities.

This position can be located either in the Basking Ridge, NJ metro area or in the National Capital Region.

The hiring manager will consider a hybrid work arrangement. The selected individual will be expected to travel to customer locations in the U.S. to meet with potential customers and partners.



Qualifications

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

    Minimum of 8 years of experience with a BS in Computer Science or related field; 6 years of experience with a MS; 3 years of experience with a Ph.D.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and executing successful go-to-market strategies for technology products.
  • Experience in, and established relationships working with one or more of the following: U.S. Army, U.S. Air Force, U.S. Navy, U.S. Marine Corps, to include knowledge of/experience with DoD requirements, programming, budgeting, and acquisition processes.
  • Solid understanding of computer networking concepts, protocols, and technologies, with ability to quickly grasp and articulate complex technical concepts.
  • Dynamic self-starter with strong attention to detail, strong work ethic, strategic thinking with respect to customer needs, competitive positioning, and the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills that ensure collaborative and trusting relationships with all levels of the organization, including executive leadership and technical experts.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to develop and deliver executive-level presentations.
  • The ability to travel 25% of the year to meet with potential customers and partners.
  • A Current/Active DOD Secret clearance is required for this position.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proven track record of successfully launching new products or services.
  • Experience in taking an R&D product to market.
  • Experience in working for a startup at a senior level.
  • Advanced degree in a business or technical discipline.

Target Salary Range

$104,000 - $166,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
