Position Summary: The Executive Banking Specialist organizes, coordinates, and supports while consistently demonstrating a high level of customer service. This profession-al promotes a needs based sales culture while striving to create and maintain a professional relationship with business clients, customers, and staff members. The Branch Manager works with various types of transactions and administrative functions while maintaining a positive relationship with all internal departments.

Essential Functions:



  • Provide excellent, proactive, high-touch customer service for private banking and commercial clients while representing the bank in a professional manner.
  • Greet customers in-person, via phone, email and/or through written correspondence while answering questions and referring inquiries to the appropriate associate or department.
  • Assist Commercial and Private Banking customers in opening and transitioning new business or personal accounts and bank products.
  • Develop strong relationships with clients, serving as the primary contact for in-office banking needs including performing teller functions, opening personal and business accounts, processing deposits and withdrawals, cashier's checks, transfers, loan and account inquiries, payments, documentation changes, wires, handling customer inquiries, pulling credit reports, requesting and providing additional information.
  • Acquire a strong understanding of bank products and services while serving as a resource for our clients.
  • Work closely and build strong relationships with Loan Operations, Electronic Banking, Deposit Services, and Treasury Management as well as other bank departments.
  • Assist with insufficient fund items (NSF) or overdrawn accounts and provide Notary services.
  • Maintain a well-organized safe welcoming office environment.
  • Oversee office opening/closing procedures.
  • Monitor and restock office supplies, marketing materials, and banking forms as needed.
  • Organize physical and electronic files while securely handling sensitive information.
  • Manage Regional President and Private Banking team calendars.
  • Draft, format and proofread documents.
  • Manage customer/client databases (CRM) ensuring accurate records.
  • Responsible for office-related expenses and invoicing.
  • Assist in planning, coordinating and executing on and off-site client functions.
  • Participate in ongoing training, coaching, and mandatory meetings to ensure continued growth within the position.
  • Understand and adhere to all bank policies, laws, and regulations applicable to their role. Complete compliance training: follow internal processes and controls as required.
  • Report all compliance issues, violations of law or regulations in accordance with the steps defined in bank policies.
  • Performs other job-related duties or special projects as assigned.
  • Regular and reliable attendance is an essential function of this position.



Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree in related field or comparable work experience.
  • Minimum two years' experience in related fields such as Banking, Executive Assistant and/or Retail Management strongly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of Union Bank products, services, culture, and philosophy strongly preferred.
  • Proficient knowledge and proven technical skills for cash handling, deposit accounts, online banking, bill-pay and mobile banking preferred.
  • Willing to obtain registration with the National Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Products and working with other company software.
  • Valid Colorado Driver's License.

Working Environment:



  • Indoor work - not exposed to outdoor elements or hazards.
  • Ability to stand and/or walk for prolonged periods of time.

Salary Range: $27.15-$40.73
