Description

This is a Full Time, 12 Hour Night Shift 1900-0730 position with benefits. There are 4 weekend shifts in a 4 week period with 1 being a Saturday. ICU RNs may float down to stepdown. This role is located at Scripps Mercy San Diego campus.

This position is eligible for New Hire and Relocation Incentives up to $7K .

Join our highly engaged 32 bed ICU team. As a critical-care nurse working at Scripps Health Mercy San Diego, you'll join a team of skilled medical professionals who provide superior health services in a caring environment. The Scripps Health team is dedicated to making a positive, measurable difference in the health of individuals in the communities we serve. Our critical-care nurses gain exposure to high acuity cases in medical, surgical, medical-cardiac, cardiothoracic-surgical, respiratory, neuro-trauma and trauma.

Our RN team provides direct patient care within the scope of his/her practice. Patient care includes assessment, planning and implementing a plan of care and evaluating patients' progress towards expected outcomes. The RN takes primary responsibility for the patients' care as delivered by the Care Team under his/her supervision. Works collaboratively with other members of the patient care team to ensure optimal patient care.

* Transfers to other locations will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis and may result in forfeiting remaining incentive bonus unless specifically noted in your offer letter.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

* Registered Nursing Degree from an Accredited School of Nursing
* At least one year Adult ICU RN experience
* Current CA State RN license
* American Heart Association BLS and ACLS certification
* Have excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrate positive behaviors
* Must be able to speak, read and follow instructions in English

Preferred Qualifications:
* At least one year of ICU RN experience in a Level I Trauma Hospital
* Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
