Position Description

We're looking for a full-time, staff Sr. Talent Acquisition Partner, to join the Day & Zimmermann team.

The Sr. Talent Acquisition partner supports employee staffing efforts by conducting full lifecycle recruiting from sourcing to onboarding for engineering focused roles. Will build relationships and partner with hiring managers and HR leadership to continuously enhance the candidate and hiring manager experience while branding Day & Zimmermann as an employer of choice.

The Sr. Talent Acquisition Partner will be responsible for facilitating workforce planning and advising clients on the most strategic approach to fill open positions including job description content, candidate source, interview discipline and structure and content of offer package. Utilizing proactive recruiting techniques, the Sr. Talent Acquisition Partner will identify talent to fill immediate openings and pipeline for future opportunities. The Sr. Talent Acquisition Partner will work towards fulfilling both individual performance goals as well as contributing to the overall success of the organization.

As the Sr. Talent Acquisition Partner, here's the work you'll do:



  • Ensures openrequisitions are filled in a timely manner by applying effective sourcing techniques and developing a pipeline of qualified candidates. Specific focus will be placed on senior level openings. Will proactively seek and evaluate the most qualified candidates (with a strong emphasis on diversity) to present to the hiring manager. Continually expands networking/sourcing resources and creates pipeline database of potential candidates. Manages Talent Acquisition Sourcing Specialist's daily tasks, ensuring various sourcing methodologies (headhunting, competitive intelligence, referrals, job boards, social media, etc).
  • Utilizes a consultative approach with hiring managers and HR Business Partners to assess future skill requirements and devise appropriate talent strategies. Develops business acumen to understand the needs and pain points, site specific culture, hiring process, compensation practice and approval processes associated with hiring. Will facilitate workforce planning by seeking to understand the end-to-end business strategy, talent management and succession plans.
  • The Sr. Talent Acquisition Partner will thoroughly screen (incorporating behavioral based interviewing techniques) each candidate and provide details with recommendations to be presented to the hiring manager. The Sr. Talent Acquisition Partner will facilitate the interview process by scheduling and gathering interview feedback within a timely manner to accentuate the candidate experience. Effectively communicates with candidates and customers to maintain relationships and build knowledge of needs and opportunities.
  • Responsible for posting, updating and closing requisitions in a timely manner using the Company's applicant tracking system. Completes and sends offer letters utilizing approved templates and following approval matrix. Ensures legal compliance with federal hiring regulations regarding all talent acquisition initiatives and related programs.
  • Brand ambassador for Day & Zimmermann broadly and corporate functions specifically. Position Day & Zimmermann marketplace through face-to-face interaction, candidate calls, job fairs and social media as the destination employer of choice.

This role is for you if you have these skills:

  • Minimum 5 of engineering focused recruitment supporting Business Unit functions required
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent preferred And if you have these qualifications:
  • Executive recruiting experience at Director Level and above
  • Expertise in full life cycle recruiting with the understanding of talent acquisition, workforce planning, process development and its impact on overall business strategy.
  • Must possess the ability to work in a high-stress, rapid paced environment.
  • Must be a self-starter and can manage own performance, and that of fellow team members.
  • Effectively plans and organizes time and priorities to achieve business results
  • Effective communication, organizational, written, interpersonal and analytical skills
  • Strong business acumen and demonstrated ability to discuss business with business unit leadership, Hiring Managers, and job seekers



In compliance with this state's pay transparency laws, the salary range for this role is $80,640 - $120,960. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location. (The specific programs and options available to an employee may vary depending on date of hire, schedule type, and the applicability of collective bargaining agreements).
