Job Overview

Macy's is seeking an experienced Affiliate Specialist to join our growing Affiliate Marketing team. This role, is equivalent in title to a Manager at most digital agencies. This person will be instrumental in helping to drive our affiliate marketing strategy, optimizations and delivering measurable results through data-driven directional analysis and performance.

What You Will Do



  • Source and manage day-to-day relationships with affiliate partners, ensuring timely communication and support
  • Develop/communicate promotional assets and collaborate with creative teams to produce affiliate-specific content and messaging
  • Monitor competitive landscape and identify new partnership opportunities
  • Analyze program performance data to identify growth opportunities and optimize campaigns
  • Experience with promotional planning and asset distribution
  • Analyze complex data sets to identify trends, opportunities, and actionable insights
  • Incorporate performance tracking and reporting trends, including ROI analysis across affiliate channel into strategic planning
  • Experience or with cross-channel strategy (SEO/SEM, Display, Influencer etc.) and cross-channel user behavior
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including merchandising, e-commerce, and marketing to ensure cohesive promotional strategies
  • Implement testing strategies to continuously improve program performance
  • Assist in budget management and distribution



Skills You Will Need



  • 3-5 years in related demand digital channel marketing
  • Affiliate Marketing experience (CPA, CPL, CPI) across omni channels inclusive of digital and traditional marketing channels
  • Proven track record of delivering against KPI's
  • Strong analytical skills with proven ability to translate data into actionable insights
  • Proficiency with affiliate networks and platforms (Commission Junction, Rakuten, Impact, etc.)
  • Excellent project management skills with ability to handle multiple priorities
  • Experience managing budgets and forecasting performance


Who You Are



  • Candidates with a bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in a related field are encouraged to apply.
  • Able to work a flexible schedule based on department and company needs.
  • Regularly required to sit, talk, hear; use hands/fingers to touch, handle, and feel. Occasionally required to move about the workplace and reach with hands and arms. Requires close vision.
  • Data-driven team player, with strong analytical skills.

    • This candidate should be encouraged by user behavior, strategically aligned to industry standards, and driven by the data.

  • The first question this individual should ask is "what does the data say" and possess the skills to source and deliver the answer.
  • Experience with managing programs within Affiliate Networks (CJ)
  • Familiarity with influencer marketing strategies
