Job Title: Operations Analyst Location: Hamilton, NJ 08619 Pay Rate: $28.00/hr. without benefits Duration: 03+ months Shift Timing (Day/ Evening/ Night): Day 9 to 5 Job Description: Justification for backfill for Agency Management Analyst Lead for Rapid Response Team, under the Chief of Operations. Under the supervision of Administrative Analyst 3, and in support of the Rapid Response Network, the duties required of this position will be highly analytical in nature to support the Rapid Response team's charge of root cause analysis and supporting other business units in the improvements to the way we conduct Medicaid business and serve our members the best way possible. This position will include regular collection, documentation, analysis and updating of business requirements, process flows, and other similar efforts to capture, present, and/or improve the flow of business unit operations as the team works to support operational improvements for the Division. Research and analysis of policies, business practices, and best practices to identify areas for improvement, identify potential solutions, and improve processes, with minimal disruption to the flow of business to meet oversight requirements, create efficiencies, or improve the general flow of business. Coordination of efforts between internal stakeholders for operationally affected business areas will be required as part of this role. Research and learn about existing business processes and systems to develop and lead training efforts, identify configuration needs, and recommend improvements as appropriate. Exploration of new ways to solve existing problems. Required Skills: Candidate must possess a bachelor's degree and have 1+ years' experience in an analyst type role OR substitute degree with 4+ years' work experience in an analyst role. Experience writing process flows and business requirements is preferred, Visio proficiency is a plus. Candidates without experience writing process flows should demonstrate comparable work experience that is transferable to the role of a business analyst and may be asked to submit a sample. Experience working on and communicating with fast-paced, dynamic teams is a plus. The ability to assess and meet scheduled demands and stay abreast of changing priorities is essential. The ideal candidate will be analytical, confident, well-spoken, adaptable, and will be able to thrive in an ever-changing environment.
