Summary: Crisis24 is seeking an experienced Investigator to conduct comprehensive background screenings.
This is a fully remote position. Candidate must be able to obtain a New Hampshire Private Investigator license. This is a part-time hourly position with an option to convert to full-time.
Responsibilities:
* Conduct in-depth investigations in accordance with applicable State and Federal law as well as company policy
* Utilize a variety of investigative databases and search techniques to locate, collect and verify information
* Conduct reference interviews, analyze credit, confirm employment history/professional licensing/education, and perform open-source investigations
* Organize and maintain logs, files, forms and reports
* Maintain a cooperative approach and work collaboratively with company Recruitment, Human Resources, Executive, and Operations teams
* Monitor and adhere to internal operational controls, including legal, corporate, and regulatory procedures
* Prepare and format well written, easily comprehensible reports
Essential Skills/Competencies:
Bachelor's degree preferred and relevant experience is required
* Must be well versed in current technologies and open-source search methodologies
* Competence with MS Office Suite and other database systems
* Must be willing to sign an NDA and maintain strict confidentiality
* Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
* Able to maintain a professional demeanor during stressful situations
* Demonstrated time management skills and the ability to prioritize and multi-task
* Attention to detail, tenacity and the ability to think analytically
* Strong organizational skills

* Must undergo and meet company standards for background screening
* Maintain composure in dealing with authorities, executives, clients, staff, and the public

* Manual dexterity required for occasional reaching and lifting of small objects and operating office equipment
* Close and distance vision and ability to adjust focus
* Must be flexible with the ability to occasionally work evenings, odd hours, and weekends
* Frequent sitting
