Overview
Must be enrolled as a student at Methodist College to be considered. To provide assistance to the Director of Library Services and students. Qualifications Certifications: , Education: , Work Experience: Responsibilities All Federal Work Study employees are required to complete 5 hours of communication service during the Fall and Spring Terms.Assists patrons both in person and on the phone.Refers patrons to librarian when unable to answer questions.Uses good telephone skills when answering the hone, taking messages, or finding information for patrons.Performs basic circulation duties in a timely and efficient manner.Shelves books using the National Library of Medicine classification system.Maintains the cleanliness, orderly and security of the Library.Maintains an accurate statistical log of patron use of the library.Troubleshoots problems with computers, copy machine, circulation system, etc.Provides clerical support when needed.Assists with orientation of new Library student workers.Maintains professionalism and confidentialityOther duties as assigned or required About Us Find it here. Compensation and Benefits The compensation range for this position is $15per hour - $24.32per hour. This represents a good faith minimum and maximum range for the role at the time of posting by Carle Health. The actual compensation offered a candidate will be dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's experience, qualifications, location, training, licenses, shifts worked and compensation model.
