Description

As a Centralized Processor 1, you will be responsible for:



  • Processing consumer loans: Prepare documents, review applications, support queues, prioritize member experience, set up closings, process DocuSign loans, learn specialty loans.
  • Funding consumer loans: Ensure document completeness, book and fund loans, mail payoff checks, set up transfers.
  • Indirect processing and funding: Prepare and fund applications, submit notifications, update status, fund loans and memberships.
  • Maintaining efficiency: Keep operational efficiencies in mind.
  • Metrics and Compliance: Consistently meet manager-set metrics as well as follow processes and procedures to comply with policies and laws.
  • Product knowledge: Understand Summit's payment protection options.
  • Assisting members: Answer calls to assist with questions.


Job Specifications



  • Minimum combined two years experience in at least two of the following areas: financial environment, lending, retail, or relevant business/customer service setting
  • Associate degree preferred
  • Ability to obtain NMLS number is required
  • Requires the ability to follow-up on problems presented to members and coworkers using a customer service approach including use of investigative problem solving
  • Basic Knowledge of laws and regulations that of Consumer Lending
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Understand RESPA/TRID, flood, and Reg Z as they apply to lending

Physical Demands of Position: While performing the duties of this position, the employee is required to sit, stand and walk, use hands and fingers. The employee occasionally must reach above and below shoulder level, and lift/push/pull and /or carry up to 10 pounds.

Environmental/Working Conditions: Works in a typical administrative setting with climate control and appropriate lighting. Travel to branches requires exposure to outdoor and traffic conditions.
