Security Officer - Access Patrol

As a Security Officer - Access Patrol in Shelbyville, KY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage and more .

As an Access Control Officer in a food and beverage location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a secure environment for all personnel and visitors. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, remaining visible throughout the premises, and providing outstanding customer service and communication. This post requires a valid driver's license, as driving may be part of your duties. Pay Rate: $17.50 / Hour

Responsibilities:

Provide customer service by following access control procedures and site-specific policies at the food and beverage location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including access control issues.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and monitor for security-related incidents.
• Assist with emergency response activities as needed, following established protocols for the location.
• Maintain detailed records of access control activities, incidents, and observations during each shift.

Minimum Requirements:

• Applicants must possess a valid driver's license in accordance with AU Driver Policy Requirements.
• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
