** This position is contingent upon contract award. **

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:



  • The Electronics Technician Maintenance II position will perform all functions required to maintain and repair electronic TADSS and equipment, including a variety of Training Devices
  • Performs preventative maintenance IAW technical guidelines and equipment specifications ensuring proper functionality and safe operating conditions
  • Applies advanced technical knowledge to solve routine electrical, mechanical, and computer issues by interpreting. manufacturers' manuals or similar documents
  • Performs inventory of spare/repair parts IAW contractual guidelines
  • Capture and records accurate maintenance history ensuring unique corrective measures for work orders and repair are annotated into MIS.
  • Applies basic and advanced technical knowledge to solve routine problems
  • May supervise, provide direction/guidance, and check lower-level technicians' work
  • Ensuring that all paperwork and reports are completed in a timely and accurate manner
  • Reads and interprets schematic drawings and diagrams required to perform maintenance
  • This position may require travel to other installations and other W-TRS locations.


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:



  • 2 - 5 years' experience with electronics testing/troubleshooting.
  • Intermediate computer and networking skills.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Linux, and Unix operating systems.
  • Must be able to wear appropriate personal protective equipment.
  • Must have an Electronics Technician Certification.
  • Must be a High School Graduate or have a GED.


KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND CAPABILITIES:



  • Excellent written and oral communications skills, attention to detail, strong organizational skills, computer proficiency, and the ability to work under strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, customer service and decision-making skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel)
