About the Position
The Marketing Analytics Analyst at 10x Genomics plays a vital role in leveraging data to understand and optimize marketing performance. This position involves creating and analyzing reports, dashboards, and data models to provide actionable insights that drive marketing effectiveness and strategic decision-making. The successful candidate will support cross-functional teams in their marketing efforts by delivering data-driven recommendations and contributing to the overall marketing strategy. This role is part of the Global Commercial Insights and Analytics team in Commercial Operations.
Responsibilities
- Partner with and support Marketing teams by analyzing campaign and channel performance and providing actionable recommendations for optimization.
- Build and maintain dashboards and reports to track key marketing metrics and performance.
- Provide data-driven insights through analysis of marketing campaigns, channels, and customer behavior.
- Develop campaign attribution models to identify high-impact campaigns and channels.
- Work closely with Marketing operations and internal marketing to define marketing campaign specific master data requirements and align across functions and systems, to ensure accurate reporting and analytics.
- Improve data accuracy and processes for reporting.
- Identify high-performing and underperforming marketing channels and recommend an optimized channel mix.
- Partner with Marketing Analytics and Finance to define Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC) and Lifetime Value (LTV) and build a reporting framework.
- Implement and analyze A/B tests to optimize marketing campaigns and user experiences.
- Model marketing mix and suggest next best actions based on data analysis.
- Enhance reporting tools for both executives and execution-oriented marketers.
- Analyze website traffic, SEO/SEM performance, social media engagement, and email marketing campaigns.
- Work with marketing automation platforms and CRM systems to extract and analyze data.
- Support customer segmentation and targeting efforts based on data insights.
Requirements
- BS in Marketing, Business, Statistics, or a related field.
- Minimum 4+ years' experience in a Marketing Analytics or related role.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in data manipulation and analysis using tools like Excel, SQL, and R or Python (pandas, jupyter notebooks).
- Understanding of basic statistical concepts and data modeling.
- Experience with data visualization and reporting tools (i.e., Tableau, PowerBI).
- Experience with web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Marketo).
- Ability to turn data analysis into actionable business insights and recommendations.
- Excellent problem-solving, project management, and communication skills.
- Ability to interpret complex information and provide strategic recommendations in a simple and concise manner.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with marketing operations and analytics for a multinational company.
- Understanding of digital marketing metrics and KPIs.
- Understanding of business financials and ability to articulate work in terms of contribution to financials and mission.

Below is the base pay range for this full-time position. The actual base pay will depend on several factors unique to each candidate, including one's skills, qualifications, and experience. At 10x, base pay is also just one component of the Company's total compensation package. This role is also eligible for 10x's equity grants, its comprehensive health and retirement benefit programs, and its annual bonus program or sales incentive program.
