paid time off
United States, New York, New York
Apr 25, 2025

The Department of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, Manhattan office, is seeking to hire a full-time psychologist who would work in both our Anxiety and Mood Disorder service and our Gender and Sexuality service. The Anxiety and Mood Disorder service provides care for youth with anxiety, depression, and related disorders and includes specialty programs in Dialectical Behavior Therapy for Adolescents (DBT-A), Tics, Tourette's, and Trichotillomania (T3 program), and intensive treatments. Ideal candidates are energetic clinicians with a commitment to clinical and academic excellence and an aptitude and enthusiasm for outpatient practice.

The ideal candidate would be able to contribute to the continued growth of both the Anxiety and Mood Disorders service and the Gender and Sexuality service, through both supporting ongoing programming and introducing new or innovative approaches to treating youth in either or both service area. Applicants with interest and experience in minority stress, intersecting identities and systemic inequities impacting transgender youth and their communities are encouraged to apply.
