Project Implementation Analyst - Delivery Assurance
Job ID: 97309

Do you want to work on complex and pressing challenges-the kind that bring together curious, ambitious, and determined leaders who strive to become better every day? If this sounds like you, you've come to the right place.
Your Impact
You will build expertise in translating strategic objectives into practical implementation initiatives and goals.
In this role, you will drive the setup and launch of management offices for transformations, integrations, and projects for leading clients across North America. With oversight, you will coach clients as they launch transformation initiatives and guide those clients as they drive their initiatives to completion. You will form lasting, trust-based relationships with a range of clients across seniorities and tenures, seeing their success as our success.
On your projects, you will leverage proprietary McKinsey project management tools to track performance of the overall program and of individual initiatives, engage in problem solving with other McKinsey team members and clients, surface issues and 'keep the pulse' on the pace of change.
You will lead continuous improvement efforts in refining management office processes, tools, way of working, and client experience to keep McKinsey at the forefront of the industry.
You'll be working with McKinsey Implementation - a rapidly growing capability for our firm - in one of our offices in North America.
You will join our Delivery Assurance service line, which is a part of our Implementation organization that was established to help clients ensure best-in-class execution in their transformational change programs.
In this role you will support clients from a variety of industries and sectors as they solve some of their most pressing problems.
In addition to your day-to-day activities with the client teams, you will be a part of a dynamic and professional community of colleagues that works together to learn, develop, and share best practices.
Your Growth
Driving lasting impact and building long-term capabilities with our clients is not easy work. You are the kind of person who thrives in a high performance/high reward culture - doing hard things, picking yourself up when you stumble, and having the resilience to try another way forward.
In return for your drive, determination, and curiosity, we'll provide the resources, mentorship, and opportunities you need to become a stronger leader faster than you ever thought possible. Your colleagues-at all levels-will invest deeply in your development, just as much as they invest in delivering exceptional results for clients. Every day, you'll receive apprenticeship, coaching, and exposure that will accelerate your growth in ways you won't find anywhere else.
When you join us, you will have:
  • Continuous learning: Our learning and apprenticeship culture, backed by structured programs, is all about helping you grow while creating an environment where feedback is clear, actionable, and focused on your development. The real magic happens when you take the input from others to heart and embrace the fast-paced learning experience, owning your journey.
  • A voice that matters: From day one, we value your ideas and contributions. You'll make a tangible impact by offering innovative ideas and practical solutions. We not only encourage diverse perspectives, but they are critical in driving us toward the best possible outcomes.
  • Global community: With colleagues across 65+ countries and over 100 different nationalities, our firm's diversity fuels creativity and helps us come up with the best solutions for our clients. Plus, you'll have the opportunity to learn from exceptional colleagues with diverse backgrounds and experiences.
  • World-class benefits: On top of a competitive salary (based on your location, experience, and skills), we provide a comprehensive benefits package, which includes medical, dental, mental health, and vision coverage for you, your spouse/partner, and children.
Your qualifications and skills
  • Undergraduate degree with a strong record of academic achievement
  • 1 + years of Project Management or PMO experience, monitoring the status of simultaneous project workstreams
  • Excellent analytical and conceptual skills, combined with entrepreneurial spirit, dedication and creativity
  • Ability to travel up to 80%
  • Ability to communicate complex ideas in English, both verbally and in writing
  • Ability to work and stay focused under pressure and manage tasks against timelines
  • Open mindset and flexibility towards change, unforeseen circumstances and engagement for continuous improvement
  • Highly-competent use of MS PowerPoint and Excel; PowerBI, Python or Tableau a plus
