PURPOSE: The role of Partnership Sales Coordinator is vital for supporting the strategic activations for the partnership sales department, including tourism, group sales and corporate sales initiatives. The Partnership Sales Coordinator works closely with the VP of Sales, Destination Sales Director, Corporate Sales Director and Global Tourism Sales Manager to execute comprehensive sales and tourism strategies. In addition, this role will deliver value to tourism partners, corporate and group clients, and marketing partners through creative activations that drive increased tourism traffic and sales while elevating the overall guest experience through strategic collaboration. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Tourism
- Oversee the coordination of hotel partnership fulfillment and foster hotel relationships.
- Lead the annual MOA Coupon Book project.
- Oversee the coordination and maintenance of the MOA Travel Wall program.
- Assist with selling the following tourism products - Travel Wall, VIP Tours, Student Presentations and Scavenger Hunts.
- Represent MOA at select local and regional travel shows, travel-trade events, consumer shows and committee and association meetings.
- Assist Global Tourism Manager with execution of tourism sponsorship activities such as FAMS and the VIP Shopping Voucher program.
- Maintain Tourism database to ensure accurate information and use of data to effectively market to travel partners and consumers.
- Assist with generating leads to form new tourism partnerships with CVBs, hotels, airlines and other travel companies.
- Assist with tourism collaterals such as the annual Mall of America Official Visitors Guide.
- Assist with coordination of onsite media visits with PR team for international/domestic journalists.
- Assist Tourism team with additional duties as assigned.
Corporate Sales
- Sales support - lead generation and qualification/research.
- Manage inventory of promotional items/supplies.
- Assist with partnership execution.
- Help create/update content for print and digital platforms, sales decks, recaps, etc.
- Assist Corporate Partnerships team with additional duties as assigned.
Group Sales
- Assist with events/activations on-site.
- Assist with client order fulfillment.
- Assist Group Sales team with additional duties as assigned.
PREFERRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES:
- Bachelor's degree in communications, tourism, marketing, sales, or equivalent work experience.
- 1-3 years' experience in tourism, sales, marketing or related field, preferred _
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Flexibility to work weekends and/or evenings when needed.
- Proficiency using marketing and sales platforms such as Monday.com, Word, Excel, etc.
- Strong writing and oral presentation skills.
- Excellent interpersonal communication.
- Strong time management skills.
- Creative thinking to assist with initiating new tourism programs and revenue sources.
PHYSICAL JOB REQUIREMENTS:

- Stand and walk, frequency, 30% of time
- Perform repetitive motion (using keyboard), frequency, 90% of time
- Kneel and bend, occasionally, 15% of time
- Reach at or above shoulder level, infrequency, 15% of time

- Lift/Carry up to 30 lbs, infrequency, 10% of time
- Ability to stand in a booth/table for 8+ hours during tourism/travel shows
- Ability to travel by car, plane or bus to travel/trade shows
STARTING PAY: $43,888 - $51,975
Pay is based on many aspects which vary based on position. These include labor markets and, in some instances, may include education, work experience and certifications.
