Job Description

Global Talent at Visa is an integrated Talent organization that oversees the end-to-end employee lifecycle, building capabilities to meet evolving company needs and priorities across Talent Acquisition, Talent Management & Development, Enterprise & Functional Learning (Visa University), Organizational Design and Employee Engagement. We are seeking a Senior Director, Global Head of Enterprise Learning to lead and shape the future of Visa University's Enterprise learning organization. The successful candidate will focus on reimagining the upskilling and reskilling of company-wide professional skills and critical enterprise competencies.

We are looking for an innovative leader with a proven track record of delivering organizational change while delivering effective and impactful learning experiences. The successful candidate will drive both transformative and continuous improvement efforts based on enterprise needs to accelerate our scale, impact, and speed-to-market. They will be accountable for ensuring that Visa employees have the necessary professional skills and enterprise knowledge essential to achieve Visa's strategic goals. This role will be critical in delivering just-in-time training within the flow of work through various modalities to ensure we are upskilling Visa employees with relevant knowledge and skills precisely when they need them, for immediate and practical application. This role will also develop longer-term strategic capability-building plans aligned to the growth of Visa.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner closely with Functional Skills Learning teams and Regional and Functional Talent Management & Development partners to identify critical enterprise and professional skills needed to support company goals and drive development of prioritized skills with measurable business impact.
  • Build foundational capabilities for career development and integrate enterprise learning into overall employee career journeys to ensure menu of offerings are clearly understood and used to support agreed upon development goals for employees.
  • Expand fundamental Visa Acumen training to grow and deepen employee organizational knowledge of our industry and business, ensuring integration into our onboarding and development practices.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to understand business strategy and translate it into clear and actionable global and regional learning & development plans focused on building professional skills training and enterprise learning.
  • Work with VU's learning design, experience and delivery mechanism to reimagine the enterprise learning experience through innovative delivery and drive faster program speed-to-market.
  • Partner with Talent Management COE leaders to drive adoption through our talent practices (e.g. Annual Review, Development Objectives, Quarterly Conversations, and Org & Talent Planning)
  • Monitor and assess the effectiveness of enterprise learning and development programs by identifying impactful KPIs and metrics and adjust as necessary to ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Successfully deliver annual Ethics and Compliance training that meets global and regional requirements.
  • Mentor and develop team members, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • 12+ years of work experience with a bachelor's degree, 10 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters/MBA /JD/MD), or a minimum of 5 years of work experience with a PhD.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 15 or more years of experience with a Bachelor's Degree or 12 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, or MD); PhD with 9+ years of experience
  • Demonstrated experience in navigating a matrixed organization and leading teams with matrixed reporting lines.
  • Strong executive presence and ability to clearly communicate compelling messages to achieve buy-in and alignment.
  • Experience presenting complex materials in a succinct manner to the most senior executives to drive effective decision making.
  • Proven track record of successfully implementing change management initiatives.
  • Strong long-term strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • A test and learn mindset that embraces creativity, optimism, ambiguity and failing-fast.
  • Ability to deliver results by acting and executing quickly.
  • Strong project management skills and demonstrated ability to lead complex cross-functional initiatives across a breadth of stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain excellent working relationships with third-party providers, to increase the contribution and capability of Visa's learning and development organization.
  • Inspiring team leader who can identify and develop talented employees while also supporting their ongoing career development.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and inspire individuals to achieve organizational and individual goals.
Additional Information

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 148,800.00 to 265,650.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity. Visa has a comprehensive benefits package for which this position may be eligible that includes Medical, Dental, Vision, 401 (k), FSA/HSA, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off, and Wellness Program.
