Quality Assurance Manager

Staffmark is hiring a Quality Assurance Manager to join a leading glass fiber textile manufacturing company in Huntersville, NC. Salary: $70,000 - $90,000 per year

Schedule: Monday - Friday | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

As the Quality Assurance Manager, you'll lead all QA/QC operations at our glass fiber textile facility-from raw material inspections to final product release. Managing a small team of quality technicians, you'll ensure product standards are consistently met, oversee audits and testing, and drive proactive improvements. This role also acts as the primary contact for internal quality issues and customer claims.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor a team of 2-3 QA technicians
• Oversee inspections, lab testing, and documentation
• Refine QA/QC procedures and ensure production compliance
• Manage non-conformances, perform root-cause analysis, and implement corrective actions
• Handle customer quality concerns and lead cross-functional resolutions
• Maintain accurate records, analyze metrics, and report findings
• Support new product rollouts and drive continuous improvement

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Material Science, Chemistry, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 3-5 years of QA/QC experience in manufacturing
• 1-2 years in a supervisory or leadership role
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, quality systems, and root-cause analysis
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel); strong communication skills
• Preferred: Experience in textile/composite/chemical manufacturing, Six Sigma or Lean certification
