Onsite Liaison & Aircraft Manual IPC Author

STS Engineering Solutions is hiring an experienced Onsite Liaison & Aircraft Manual IPC Author to join our technical services team based in Switzerland, with support for neighboring EU countries. This is a full-time, on-site contract role focused on aircraft manual revisions and liaison duties for leading air carriers and aviation partners.

• Start Date: May 19, 2025
  
• Location: Switzerland (serving neighboring EU countries)
  
• Pay Range: $35-45 USD per hour plus reimbursement for pre-approved travel expenses
  
• Hours: 40 hours per week, on-site
  
• Term: Five months with the potential for extension
  
• Citizenship Requirements: Swiss citizenship or valid Switzerland visa preferred
  

• Review aircraft manuals according to standard checklist procedures
  
• Author and deliver final drafts of revisions to clients
  
• Serve as the on-site liaison to the remote work team
  
• Allocate and manage work assignments for team members
  

• Strong understanding of aircraft manual content and scope of work
  
• Extensive knowledge of Aircraft Illustrated Parts Catalogs (AIPC)
  
• Proficient in ArborText Editor, PTC IsoDraw 7.3, and Adobe Acrobat DC Pro
  
• In-depth knowledge of ATA 100, I-Spec 2200, S1000D, and ASTE standards
  
• Good working knowledge of Document Development Life Cycle (DDLC)
  
• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English
  
• Ability to work at a computer for up to 10 hours per day
  
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365, SharePoint, Teams, and OneDrive
  
• Basic mathematical skills for technical calculations
  
• Highly developed interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
