Job Title: Regional Sales Manager - Power and Light - North

Join the dynamic team at Power Technique North America LLC, part of the esteemed Atlas Copco Group, as a Regional Sales Manager for Power and Light. This key position offers an exciting opportunity to lead sales efforts across the northeastern United States, including Boston, MA, New York, NY, and Philadelphia, PA.

About the Role

Your main responsibility will be to drive sales strategies for Power and Light products within the designated region. You will play a critical role in building strong relationships with customers, understanding their needs, and offering tailored solutions that enhance satisfaction and loyalty. This position not only focuses on growth but also emphasizes the importance of collaboration and teamwork within the sales division.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve sales targets and expand the customer base.
  • Identify market trends and customer needs to create competitive advantages for Power and Light offerings.
  • Lead negotiations and manage the sales process from prospecting to closing deals.
  • Work collaboratively with marketing and product management teams to support product launches and promotional activities.
  • Prepare detailed sales forecasts and reports, analyzing performance metrics to drive continuous improvement.
  • Conduct regular visits to customer sites to foster relationships and gather feedback for service enhancement.
  • Represent the Atlas Copco brand at industry events and exhibitions, enhancing our market visibility.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales and marketing within the power generation or industrial equipment sectors. Your ability to understand technical products and convey their benefits effectively will be crucial.

  • Proven track record in a similar sales role, preferably within the power or industrial sectors.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with a diverse customer base.
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team-oriented environment.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • A degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
