GENERAL FUNCTION

The Senior Director of Operations Services is responsible for the achievement of sales by delivering a high level of service to our eyecare centers. A leader in this role must be high-touch, commercial-minded, and operationally excellent. This role has leadership over Store Operations and Franchise Services, including Communications, Fleet, and Systems, as well as Commercialization. The position plays a pivotal role on the brand leadership team, owning the overall strategy to improve operational and franchisee experience to deliver brand goals.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Ops Services



  • This function is the hub for all store, customer, and franchisee related activities, and ensures smooth execution of multiple projects and tasks from different functions
  • Develop the strategy and oversee implementation of all eyecare center processes and services to achieve or exceed business objectives
  • Forge strong relationships with Field teams and Franchisees to foster collaboration, build trust, and identify collective opportunities for growth
  • Continually assess service levels and develop initiatives to improve satisfaction


Systems



  • Partner across functions and teams to ensure acceptable levels of service for existing IT applications and infrastructure in stores and drive plans for any new systems, applications and updates
  • Oversee development of systems roadmap for the brand with global and local IT functions


Fleet



  • Responsibility for developing and delivering the store growth & remodel annual plans leading all activities related to opening, close, remodel, refresh and discretionary projects as needed
  • Develop the fleet strategy for the brand by analyzing business potential and real estate opportunities and adherence to scope, budget, and timelines on all fleet projects.


Communication



  • Lead the communications strategy for the brand focusing on enhancements to create clear, comprehensive and engaging messages
  • Oversee in-house communications for the brand and engagement of employees and franchisees through various touchpoints from daily tasks to project launches to events and town halls.


Commercialization



  • Oversee product initiatives to drive wholesale growth for Pearle Vision and profitability for Franchisees.
  • Define strategy for lens portfolio including pricing and proper utilization of lenses by Franchisees.
  • Manage relationships with lens and Rx manufacturing partners to strategically build and maintain Pearle Vision lens and lab supply chain to maximize profitability for Franchisees and Pearle Vision.


Leadership



  • Lead a high performing team, developing soft skills, functional depth and breadth, and industry acumen.
  • Manage key relationships with internal cross functional partners, outside vendors, and Franchisees.
  • Collaborate with field teams to deliver a high service level and achieve financial targets.


BASIC QUALIFICATIONS



  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 12+ years professional experience with 8+ years in supervisory roles
  • Strong people leadership skills
  • Experience with Wholesale and/or Franchise business
  • Bias for action and sense of urgency
  • Ability to navigate complexity and lead through ambiguity and rapid change
  • Ablity to promote ideas persuasively, win acceptance for new initiatives, negotiate skillfully

Pay Range: 185,151.60-283,790.40

Employee pay is determined by multiple factors, including geography, experience, qualifications, skills and local minimum wage requirements. In addition, you may also be offered a competitive bonus and/or commission plan, which complements a first-class total rewards package. Benefits may include health care, retirement savings, paid time off/vacation, and various employee discounts.
