Summer Student Worker - Pediatric Cardiology

Position Description:

Purpose

Under the supervision the lab PI, perform research as part of educational and research experiences assocated with the completion of an MS program.

Primary Functions

• With PI guidance as needed, lead the planning and conducting of research study activities.
• Conduct research studies in accordance with institutional approvals and laboratory safety protocols.
• Accurately collect and enter research data into specified programs or databases.
• Participate in the statistical analysis and interpretation of research findings.
• Prepare typewritten scientific writings and presentations related to research findings for local or national meetings and assist tin the creation and submission of manuscripts for peer reviewed publication.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Knowledge - Skills - Abilities

Knowledge of computers, clerical procedures, customer service standards, collaboration, and information management. Organization, time management, interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Schedule:



Casual role with expectations for coverage during core business hours and flexibility required as necessary to accommodate business needs.
