Moog produces spaceflight hardware and software solutions, integrating vehicle design, component design and engineering services for aerospace, scientific, commercial and military customers on four continents. From proposal phase to ground testing, launch and on-orbit operations, we support each mission as scientific, technical and operational facilitators. On the product side, our radiation-hardened avionics and electronics include GPS/GNSS receivers, science payloads, motor controllers, high-quality flight-critical components, and single board computers powered by the next-generation BRE440 "system-on-a-chip" - the world's highest-performance radiation-hardened microprocessor.

As the Scheduler, you will be responsible for developing integrated master plans and schedules in support of the Earned Value Management System (EVMS). You will be a subject-matter expert for scheduling and for current scheduling software (MS Project online).The Analyst should be familiar with the roles and responsibilities of everyone who participates on the program and often orchestrates participation from other team members.

Your day-to-day duties will include:

  • Developing and accurately maintaining integrated master/sub-project schedules, ensuring schedule logic is maintained (horizontal & vertical).

  • Coordinating work activities with project team members, progressing schedules, and assisting in identifying and resolving schedule conflicts.

  • Conducting detailed analysis of major Program Events as well as key intermediate milestones.

  • Working with the Program Manager to analyze and interpret performance data for monthly reporting and presentation to senior management.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering, Accounting, or a related field and 3 years of relevant work experience demonstrating strong analytical, problem resolution, organizational, program management and leadership abilities.Knowledge in program scheduling concepts is preferred.

  • Knowledge in schedule management from initial schedule development through program completion.

  • Experience using MS Project and schedule performance management is preferred.

  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation skills, energetic, and self-starter

  • Outstanding communication skills - both written and verbal

  • Demonstrated ability to communicate well with all levels of the organization and experience in working with external constituencies

  • Strong organizational skills

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and able to react to shifting priorities to meet business need

  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and commitments

  • Ability to travel domestic and/or internationally - approximately 5%.

Salary Range Transparency:

Chatsworth, CA $80,000.00-$110,000.00 Annually

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the Moog salary range for this position in the given work location. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range(s) listed is just one component of Moog's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, employee stock purchase plan, an open paid time off policy, and many region-specific benefits.
