Life Takes You Places! Are you ready to join us? The starting base salary range for an Group Underwriter IV is $67,000 to $94,000. Actual salaries will vary by geographic location and are based on factors such as candidate's qualifications, experience, skills, competencies, and company tenure & equity. In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan based on company performance and individual performance. Group Underwriter IV Overview Conducts risk assessment and selection for small, mid, and large case market on Life and Disability, Dental and Worksite products. Produces rates for new groups using company proposal system. Prepares formal proposals and renewals using word processing, spreadsheet tools and software as applicable. Completes financial exhibits using established guidelines. Assists in the preparation of RFP response. Verifies rates on sold cases. Assist in training lower-level underwriters and sales staff. Works on special product or rating projects as required. Uses knowledge of formulas to determine when deviation is necessary and recommendations alternatives. Essential Duties
