Job Description:

The Senior Operations Performance and Design Consultant delivers on our Purpose by driving the strategy, analysis, design, and implementation of operational performance initiatives that aim to achieve positive and sustainable results as well as maximize revenue opportunities. This role partners with Operations, Commercial, and Finance departments to align People, assets and network to improve processes, reduce cost and complexity, and enable and maximize revenue opportunities. The Senior Operations Performance and Design Consultant is an innovative, strategic thinker who looks forward to making a meaningful impact on commercial processes and the Company's performance.

Responsibilities
  • Develop strategies and business insights from quantitative and qualitative information
  • Structure complex and ambiguous problems and act to holistically solve them
  • Distills complex problems and data sets into simple summaries that can be understood by all levels of Leadership
  • Identifies opportunities through analysis that drive business decisions and long-term strategy
  • Create value through identifying and implementing business improvements
  • Develop and coordinate well-written presentations that are clear and convey key information, including business cases, roadmaps, and other materials that support alignment efforts
  • Manage cross-functional initiatives and lead meetings with key stakeholders at all levels
  • Lead special programs and initiatives that arise from unique operational challenges
  • Communicate timelines, risks, issues, and decisions to executives
  • Drive consensus among multiple parties with conflicting and diverse viewpoints
  • Act as a thought leader and serve as a trusted advisor
  • Mentor junior team members
  • May perform other job duties as directed by Employee's Leader
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Expertly skilled in understanding and applying information to contribute to the organizations strategic plan
  • Expertly skilled in identifying complex problems and reviewing related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions
  • Expertly skilled in using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems
  • Ability to effectively listen to, understand, and communicate ideas presented in writing and/or in speaking with all levels of the organization, including executives
  • Ability to self-start and work autonomously, with limited and disparate information
  • Expertly skilled in data analysis and visualizing data to drive insights using tools such as Alteryx, Tableau, R, SQL, Python, think-cell, MS Excel, etc
  • Expertly skilled in synthesizing complex information within PowerPoint presentations and delivering them to affected stakeholders, including executives
  • Ability to use statistical and mathematical models to draw conclusions
  • Ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels within the organization
  • Ability to function under stress, meet deadlines, prioritize multiple/competing tasks, and work collaboratively with a team
Education
  • Required: High School Diploma or GED
Experience
  • Expert level experience, expansive and far reaching knowledge in:
    • Working directly with Department Leaders (VP and Director level) on complex business changes and improvements
    • Developing and executing business plans
    • Managing all phases of large scale programs, with an emphasis on complex business change
    • Developing and presenting recommendations to Senior Executives on self-created opportunities
    • Leading Teams, setting Team goals, managing competing priorities, presenting to 20 or more people, and interfacing directly with Sr. Leaders and Executives

Physical Abilities
  • Ability to perform work duties from [limited space workstation/desk/office area] for extended periods of time
  • Ability to communicate and interact with others in the English language to meet the demands of the job
  • Ability to use a computer and other office productivity tools with sufficient speed and accuracy to meet the demands of the job
Other Qualifications
  • Must maintain a well-groomed appearance per Company appearance standards as described in established guidelines
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or have authorization to work in the United States as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must be able to comply with Company attendance standards as described in established guidelines

Pay & Benefits:

Competitive market salary from $141,400 per year to $157,100 per year* depending on qualifications and experience. For eligible Leadership and individual contributor roles, additional bonus opportunities are available and awarded at the discretion of the company.
