The Office of Educational Equity invites applications for the position of Administrative Support Assistant. Reporting to the Interim Vice Provost for Educational Equity and the Administrative Assistant of the Interim Vice Provost for Educational Equity. Required skills and knowledge:
Education and Experience: Minimally requires a High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED), 2+ years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.This position is filled at the Intermediate Support level. For full consideration, applicants must submit a cover letter of interest and resume. General work hours for the Administrative Assistant position are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The successful candidate will also need to accompany and/or transport individuals to appointments or meetings across campus, as well as occasionally drive individuals to/from campuses outside of University Park. A valid driver's license and successful completion of a motor vehicle records check will be required in addition to standard background checks. CAMPUS SECURITY CRIME STATISTICS: Pursuant to the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act and the Pennsylvania Act of 1988, Penn State publishes a combined Annual Security and Annual Fire Safety Report (ASR). The ASR includes crime statistics and institutional policies concerning campus security, such as those concerning alcohol and drug use, crime prevention, the reporting of crimes, sexual assault, and other matters.
