Grow with us as we embark on building tomorrow together by being the safest, most diverse and most profitable industrial gas company in the world.

Reimagine What's Possible

Do you have a passion for safety, solving unique challenges, driving efficiency and operational excellence? Air Products seeks a Plant Process Engineer at our Texas City, TX facility who embodies a safety-first mentality, takes ownership for getting results and can provide commissioning and performance testing support. If this sounds like you, come grow with us as we continue to build a sustainable tomorrow together!

Air Products pioneered the "on-site" concept of producing and selling industrial gases in 1940. That ground-breaking idea not only launched our company, it launched the industrial gas industry we know today. Since then, we have built a reputation for our innovative culture, operational excellence, and dedication to safety and the environment. Today, we are an established Fortune 500 company delivering some of the largest and most complex projects in the history of Air Products and are fully engaged in finding solutions to the world's environmental and sustainability challenges.

The Texas City facility is a complex greenfield site built to be the world's largest single train ammonia plant and marks the expansion of Air Products Gulf Coast presence into a new geographic area at Texas City. The facility assets include Air Products' largest SMR, a 100,000 Nm3/Hr Nitrogen Air Separation Unit (ASU), a 3600 T/D Ammonia Plant, Ammonia Pipelines, 60 MW of Steam Turbine Power Generation, and large Utility System. The facility has connections to the Air Products Gulf Coast Pipeline system for Hydrogen and external parties for Natural Gas, Water, and Power. The Ammonia Plant is owned by a 3rd party, Gulf Coast Ammonia, which has separate Environmental Permits but is operated by Air Products as part of the integrated operation of the overall facility.

The successful candidate will join the Americas Plant Process Engineering team and provide process engineering support as part of an operations organization that pursues outstanding performance for the fleet of Air Products hydrogen, carbon monoxide, ammonia, and syngas plants. This position will be based out of the Texas City facility with potential for infrequent travel to other North American facilities (~5%).
