ILS Specialist

The ILS Specialist will support Integrated Product Support (IPS) planning and execution for complex systems. This role focuses on the development, update, and sustainment of product support databases in accordance with MIL-STD-1388-2B and or GEIA-STD-0007 standards. The candidate will perform Maintenance Task Analysis (MTA), Level of Repair Analysis (LORA), and provisioning data development, supporting the broader logistics and sustainment strategy across the product lifecycle.

Essential Functions:
Maintain Logistics Databases, data in compliance with MIL-STD-1388-2B or GEIA-STD-0007 standards.
Perform Maintenance Task Analysis (MTA), Conduct Level of Repair Analysis (LORA).
Collaborate Across Teams, work with engineering, sustainment, and supportability teams to align logistics data with design and operational needs.
Deliver Reports and Documentation, outputs and briefings for program reviews and customer deliverables.
Develop Provisioning Data and manage provisioning documentation (PPL, RSPL, SMR codes) for sustainment planning.
Support all 12 IPS elements, including technical data, training, maintenance planning, and supply support.
Work with engineering, sustainment, and supportability teams to align logistics data with design and operational needs.
Conduct audits and quality checks to ensure logistics data aligns with technical documentation.
Contribute to sustainment strategies, logistics support plans, and system readiness assessments.

Associates Degree in Logistics, Engineering, Business Management or related technical field and a minimum of six years of relevant experience.
Bachelors Degree in Logistics, Engineering, Business Management or related technical field and a minimum of 2 years relevant experience.
Minimum education and years of experience requirements are not to be used exclusive of other leveling factors. Substitution of additional relevant education and experience for stated qualifications may be considered.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Project, Outlook).
3D CAD experience. Reliability Analysis with PTC Windchill Quality Solutions.
Ability to assist logistics and provisioning deliverables in accordance with GEIA-STD-0007.
Excellent verbal and written communications.
Preferred Additional Skills:
Experience supporting DoD acquisition programs or working with government customers.
Familiarity with ILS/IPS deliverables, including LCSPs, TMDE planning, and technical manual development.
Hands-on use of logistics modeling and simulation tools (e.g., COMPASS, LMI's Readiness-Based Sparing tools).
Knowledge of Failure Modes, Effects, and Criticality Analysis (FMECA) and RCM principles.
Understanding of SMR coding logic and provisioning processes per MIL-PRF-49506 or equivalent.
Experience working in a Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) or configuration-managed environment.
Certifications in logistics or sustainment disciplines (e.g., Certified Professional Logistician (CPL), DAU Level II/III).
Familiarity with technical manual formats (S1000D, MIL-STD-40051) and provisioning data validation.
