Qualifications
REQUISITE SKILLS:
- Experience with government facilities programs desirable but not necessary.
- Excellent time management, communication, and organizational skills.
- Familiarity with rocket propulsion desirable but not necessary - willing to learn.
- A working knowledge of the English language is required.
- The candidate shall be able to operate in a team environment, and shall have good interpersonal, reporting and communication skills (written and verbal).
- Following Safety Regulations adhering to safety standards and regulations, including OSHA and other local codes.
- Communicating with Clients/Customers explaining potential issues to customers, outlining repair solutions, and recommending preventative measures.
- Perform quality work within deadlines with or without direct supervision.
- Interact professionally with other employees, customers, and suppliers.
- Comply with all applicable safety and health related rules, regulations, and procedures.
- Work safely themselves and help their teammates work safely.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- The candidate must be able to complete a background check for test complex and facility access.
- Must be able to effectively communicate both orally and in writing with state of the art technology.
- Coordinates contract administration, budgets, and company resources with management.
- Assists real estate staff in site acquisition for space planning, development and lease negotiations; ensures adherence to appropriate cost guidelines.
- Oversees the costs of equipment alternatives; selects equipment based on design specifications, availability, and costs.
- Acts as a coordinator of the engineering, fabrication, and testing phases of construction.
- Supervises the layout, design, and installation procedures of architectural, civil, structural, mechanical, and electrical systems to ensure construction meets client needs and adheres to local, state, and federal codes.
- Reviews final designs, drawings, and blueprints for approval. Reviews cost estimates to ensure compliance with overall budget.
- Provides reports to management on status of job costing, operations, financials, key projects, and other reports as needed.
- Selects and hires employees. Trains and evaluates employees to enhance their performance, development, and work product. Addresses performance issues and makes recommendations for personnel actions. Motivates and rewards employees including providing salary increases, bonuses and promotions within allocated budgets and company guidelines.
- Plans, coordinates new business development and communications efforts. Fosters relationships and business development with new clients; maintains communications with current clients.
- Prepares and recommends operating and personnel budgets for approval. Monitors spending for adherence to Budget, recommends variances as necessary.
- Good organizational, communication, and planning skills.
- Ability to work with computers.

REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Bachelor's degree in construction management or related field preferred
- Nine or more years of experience in construction management
- Five or more years of supervisory experience included.
- Experience working with Federal Acquisition Regulations pertaining to selection of architectural/engineering and services fields.
- Experience working with all phases of the construction process, including costing methods and procedures.
- Experience working with architectural, civil, structural, mechanical, and electrical systems.
- Experience working with all types of construction materials, methods, and equipment requirements.
- Experience working with building codes and electrical, mechanical, and related codes.
- Strong skills in construction inspection, preparation of and follow through on resolution of site punch lists.
- Dexterity to operate office as required by the position.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as zoning and construction drawings, bids, and leases.
- Strong surveying techniques/equipment/computations skills
- Strong communication skills to communicate in a clear and concise manner with technicians, engineers, public officials, and other stakeholders.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen in order to obtain required NASA badge.
- Must have the ability to communicate the English language, both verbally and written, in an effective manner.
- Must have, and maintain, a valid driver's license.
- Must be able to pass a Pre-Employment background check and drug screen test.
- Will ensure quality and completeness of work in a safe and timely manner as well as ensuring areas worked are clean, neat, and ready for customers' needs when complete.
