Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Outreach & Engagement Specialist to join our team in Post Falls, ID. This pivotal role requires a forward-thinking individual who is passionate about fostering partnerships, driving community engagement, and shaping effective outreach strategies. With a focus on communication, collaboration, and strategic planning, this individual will play a critical role in building and maintaining community awareness of services, thereby supporting our mission of changing lives.   • Assist in the development of effective communication strategies for Equus Workforce Solutions and program partners to increase awareness of available workforce services in the community
  • Develop and maintain partnerships with community partners to share best practices and explore opportunities to work together for increased effectiveness and efficiency
  • Develop and present information about program services to community partners
  • Design engaging social media content on current events and programmatic highlights
  • Research and write content for the company website, infographics, blogs, and newsletters
  • Adhere to the company's style guide, ensuring high-quality and error-free copy
  • Prepare evaluative reports, communication and outreach campaigns
  • Collaborate with community partners in designing and marketing programmatic information, services and events for the purpose of recruitment and awareness
  • Responsible for maintaining high standards of confidentiality, including information relating to customers, employees and/or contacts
  • Assist with job fairs and employer hiring events. Flexible to work outside of normal business hours for events and/or to meet deadlines
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • Associate's degree preferred
  • At least three years of professional experience in an outreach role, preferably with government, professional or community-based organizations.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Outstanding organizational and time-management skills and the ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously
  • Understanding of communications, public relations and marketing best practices including social media channels
  • Must possess exceptional writing skills and be able to compose engaging and accurate content
  • Strong communicator who works well independently and with a team
  • Ability to think strategically and identify ways to improve communication efforts
  • Ability to track and interpret to track and interpret data related to programmatic goals
  • Excellent computer skills including some experience in design and marketing software
  • Current driver's license (with low-risk driver rating) and automobile liability insurance required
