In conjunction with the Nurse Practitioner, the Infusion Intake Coordinator will be responsible for coordination and scheduling of AIC nursing visits, tracking nurse administered infusions and authorizations, timely clearance of new referrals, and purchasing AIC supplies for the warehouse.

Coordinates regularly scheduled nursing visits and orders with Nurse Practitioners as well as Pharmacy staff
• Processes Mosaic Infusion Therapy referrals
• Communicates with Nurse Practitioners and Pharmacy staff regarding referral status
• Ensures all intake forms are complete and accurate
• Obtains authorizations required by payers
• Notifies patients about coverage and payment responsibilities
• Maintains confidentiality of patient and proprietary information
• Stocks warehouse equipment and reports inventory to supervisor

• High School Diploma or GED; Associate degree or some college preferred
• Knowledge of insurance verification and pre-certification procedures, warehouse, and/or distribution inventory management
• Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills
• Computer proficiency
