Responsibilities

The Analytics Engineer role will develop, maintain, and enhance enterprise analytics and reporting solutions to enable organization strategy and promote data-driven decision making. The role is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining analytics dashboards, reports, and visualizations that provide business insights. The Analytics Engineer will work closely with business stakeholders and Technology Services architects, engineers, and analysts to ensure accurate and timely delivery of data solutions.

  • Data Analytics
    • Lead collaboration with business and technical stakeholders to define requirements, design and build visualizations and solutions that provide insights and data-driven decision making.

    • Lead the design and implement solutions that meet the reporting and analytics needs of the organization.

    • Develop visualizations and dashboards to support the strategic analytics needs of the organization.

    • Develop visualizations to enable data-driven decisions.

    • Design, develop, implement, and maintain dashboards and visualizations to enable data-driven decision making.

  • Analytics Engineering
    • Collaboration with Data Engineers to:

      • Deliver well defined, transformed, tested, documented and code-reviewed datamarts for data consumers to enable data-driven insights.

      • Engineer, assemble and develop robust datamarts and architectures to enable data-driven insights and meet the needs of the organization and business stakeholders.

      • Develop and manage complex data models from multiple disparate data sources.

      • Develop data management solutions enabling access to data to meet the analytics requirements of the organization.

      • Create and maintain dashboards, visualizations, and reports using visualization tools that will enable operators and stakeholders to make data-driven decisions and meet the reporting and analytics needs of the organization.


Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, informatics, statistics or related field or 6 years of related work experience.
  • Minimum 2 years related experience in Business Intelligence and Analytics, visualization tools, PowerBI, Tableau.
  • Minimum 2 years related experience developing data visualizations
  • Experience with software engineering tools like SQL,R, Python, Databricks, Azure Data Factory
  • Experience data engineering, data modeling, data management, pipelines and ETL
  • Experience with large scale enterprise integrated solutions
  • Demonstrated knowledge of security and compliance best practices.
  • Excellent analytics skills working with structured and unstructured data.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across business and technology.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with data architecture, Azure Databricks
  • Experience with large enterprise applications like EMRs, Salesforce, Oracle EBS.
  • Knowledge of Hazelden Betty Ford Foundation business practice.
