Add to favorites Favorited View favorites Pay Grade/Pay Range: Minimum: $56,600 - Midpoint: $73,600 (Salaried E9) Department/Organization: 508107 - Capstone Village Residential Services Normal Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm; some evenings & weekends required Job Summary: The Assistant Director of Resident Services oversees the design and execution of physical, cognitive, and social activities for Independent and Assisted Living residents. Ensures compliance with Alabama Department of Public Health, other related regulatory agencies, and Capstone Village Administration. Coordinates resident transportation and supervise community drivers. Supervises and provides training to multiple staff positions. Additional Department Summary: Designs and executes physical, cognitive, and social activities for Independent and Assisted Living residents in accordance with Alabama Department of Public Health, other related regulatory agencies, and Capstone Village Administration. Educates residents on the offerings of Alabama Institute of Aging and Osher Lifelong Learning Institute and assists with coordination of resident participation. Coordinates resident transportation and supervises four community drivers. Supervises the Resident Services Associate and the Events Coordinator. Required Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree and four (4) years of senior living, hospitality, or event planning experience; OR master's degree and two (2) years of senior living, hospitality, or event planning experience. Additional Required Department Minimum Qualifications: Must have valid U.S. driver's license. Must be at least 19 years of age at time of hire and have an acceptable Motor Vehicle Report that is in compliance with University policies. Applicants under the age of 21 will have some driving restrictions. Skills and Knowledge: Proficient in Microsoft Office applications. Knowledge of State of Alabama Assisted Living and Specialty Care Assisted Living Facilities Rules and Regulations or ability to obtain within six (6) months of hire. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree or higher in Public Relations, Communications, or Hospitality Management.
