DESCRIPTION OF WORK

As a Maintenance Repairman 2, you will have a wide range of responsibilities. Your work will include tasks such as construction, alteration, and maintenance work on buildings, including floors, roofs, stairways, windows, and doors. You will also be responsible for painting both the interior and exterior of buildings, as well as installing and repairing skinks, faucets, water heaters, and drains. Additionally, you will be expected to have knowledge and experience with electrical work, including installing and replacing circuits, panels, walls, plugs, and lighting fixtures. Furthermore, you will need to be skilled in repairing concrete and masonry.

- Full-time employment (7.5 hours per day/37.5 hours per week)
- Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
- May change based on operational needs.
- Travel as operationally necessary
- Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.
- Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- Two years of experience as a Maintenance Repairman 1 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
- Four years of experience in building and plant maintenance work, which has involved at least two of the building, electrical, or mechanical trades; or
- Any equivalent combination of experience and training that affords the applicant with the Required Knowledges, Skills, and Abilities.
Special Requirement:
- This position requires possession of a valid Pennsylvania Class C Driver's License.
Additional Requirement:
- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
