Nestle Business Growth Solutions (BGS LLC), a new business within Nestle is seeking a dynamic Co-Pilot for this new "entrepreneurial-oriented" company. Responsibility encompasses the company financials, including full P&L and Balance Sheet responsibility, as well as PEC and Reporting. It also includes the close work collaboration with Nestle Businesses/categories and the strategic discussion within Nestle BGS as a business-oriented Co-Pilot.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Participate in Period End Close (PEC) processes, ensure P&L financial integrity/accuracy, performs varianceanalysis to inform future forecasting (YTD performance/YTG forecasting).
  • Promote clear understanding of financial key figures and costs (actuals and forecasts) for Nestle businesses working with BGS and for the Centre.
  • Ensure quality and accurate financial information and potential risks and opportunities are anticipated; monitor progress to close gaps ensuring Nestle financial policies and Accounting Standards is followed.
  • Review monthly performance (through the development of simple and measurable KPIs).
  • Collaborate with shared service functions as well ascorporate for the services provided by these areas (i.e. Tax, Internal control, Accounts Payable, Audit, Treasury).
  • Supports the Monthly Business Planning process and works closely with cross functional business partners tounderstand key inputs for Dynamic Forecast, risks and opportunities to forecast, and makes recommendationsto improve forecast accuracy.
  • Manage annual marketing spend and budget to respective businesses, which includes creating Purchase Orders (POs) to customers and cascading reporting to stakeholders to ensure profitability.
  • Prepare selling price simulations considering key variables that affect profitability and consequently business impact.
  • Support new product/project feasibility and business case development: Works with a broad cross-functional team including Marketing, Sales, Supply Chain, Procurement, Technical & Production, Research & Development, and other Finance groups to translate assumptions into sound financials.
  • Transfer price loading, utilizing internal tools, while ensuring appropriate overhead is applied.
  • Build meaningful reports across finance and supply chain via internal software tool for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Support as a backup to the accounting lead.

Requirements:

  • BA/BS in Accounting/Finance or related degree.
  • Minimum of 4 years' experience in Finance function (e.g. Audit, Co-Pilot, Sales controller, Supply Chain Controller, Decision Support).
  • Having successfully progressed through one or several career steps in Finance & Control positions.
  • Fast moving consumer goods (FMCG) industry experience preferred.
  • Affinity to international trade and frequent change environment (e.g. Incoterms knowledge).

Preferred skills:

  • Ability to investigate anomalies within the end-to-end financial processes and implement improvements.
  • Understanding of P&L concepts and management accounting principles.
  • Capable of articulating financial aspects in a clear and concise manner to non-financial professionals.
  • Proficient in SAP (R3, BW, AFO, etc) and Microsoft tools (Excel, PowerPoint, etc).
