Your Role on the Team

Under general supervision, the candidate will take part in studies centering on the role of sleep in memory processing in humans. The candidate will take on the responsibility for regular lab management, assistance to research projects and human experiments.


What It Takes to be Successful

Required:

  • Basic computer skills (MS office or equivalent) are required.
  • Must have good eye/hand coordination, good communication skills (both written and verbal) and must be highly organized.
  • Graduation from high school or a General Education Diploma and three years of laboratory experience or two years of college including courses in the natural, physical or social sciences and two years of laboratory experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience; and knowledges and abilities essential to the successful performance of the duties assigned to the position.
  • 1-3 years year of research experience.

Preferred:

  • Programming skills with Python, MATLAB, and/or R.
  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in an appropriate discipline (psychology, cognitive science, biology, neuroscience, neurobiology).
  • 1-3 years Experience with cognitive neuroscience methods (e.g., EEG, fMRI, eye tracking, TMS).

The expected pay range for this recruitment is $26.66- $27.75 (Hourly).
