The Manager II, Finance at MCS will oversee financial planning, analysis, and reporting activities. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills to support the company's financial health and growth. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of financial principles, excellent leadership abilities, and a proven track record in financial management.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Lead the financial planning and analysis (FP&A) process, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Prepare and present financial reports to senior management, providing insights and recommendations.
  • Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
  • Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to improve efficiency and control.
  • Manage and mentor a team of finance professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business initiatives and drive financial performance.
  • Monitor cash flow, manage capital expenditures, and optimize working capital.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal controls.
  • Conduct financial modeling and scenario analysis to support strategic decision-making.
  • Identify and mitigate financial risks, providing proactive solutions.
  • Additional duties and responsibilities may be assigned based on work experience.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in finance, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
  • Strong knowledge of financial principles, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
