You'll take as many as 50-70 calls per day from customers who have questions about their health benefits. As they advocate, you'll use your personality and our tools to help them through the health care benefits available to them, including helping them enroll in a new plan. This is no small opportunity. Partners with Payor Relations to identify payor issues and trends system-wide. Provides ongoing support and developmental guidance by analyzing performance metrics, providing performance feedback, and conducting training and other educational opportunities. This position is full-time (40 hours / week), Monday - Friday. Employees are required to work the shift schedule of 11:30 EST- 8:00 pm EST. It may be necessary, given business need, to work occasionally overtime or weekends. Occasionally you may need to report to the office as needed. Our office is located at 3803 North Elm Street, Greensboro, NC, 27455. We offer 18 weeks of training. The hours of training will be 8:30-5:00 pm EST from Monday - Friday. Training will be conducted virtually from your home. If you are located in Greensboro, NC, you will have the flexibility to work remotely* as you take on some tough challenges. This role is equally challenging and rewarding. You'll be called on to research complex issues pertaining to the caller's health, status, and potential plan options. To do this, you'll need to navigate across multiple databases which require fluency in computer navigation and toggling while confidently and compassionately engaging with the caller. You'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in. *All employees working remotely will be required to adhere to UnitedHealth Group's Telecommuter Policy The hourly range for this role is $16.88 to $33.22 per hour based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
