Job Overview: As the State Trauma System Assistant Director, you will play a critical role in managing and improving the trauma system within Tennessee. You will work closely with the State Trauma System Director and other stakeholders to develop and implement policies and procedures, coordinate system-wide initiatives, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards. Your role will involve collaboration with healthcare professionals, government agencies, and community organizations to optimize trauma care delivery to improve patient outcomes. Key Responsibilities:
Minimum Qualifications: Associate or Bachelors degree in nursing, prehospital care, healthcare administration, public health or a related field. Experience in trauma care, preferably in a leadership or management role. Knowledge of trauma systems, trauma center verification or designation processes, and regulatory requirements is preferred. Understanding of trauma care standards, guidelines, and best practices. Strong communication and interpersonal abilities, with the capability to engage and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
