The Data Platform Analytics Manager will have a strong background in leading teams focused on data analytics and platform management of Tableau, Cognos, and Power BI, with extensive experience in cloud platforms, data integration, and advanced analytics.
The role will be responsible for driving the organization's analytics capabilities, ensuring scalability, security and innovation. The ideal candidate should have a strong technical background and ability to partner with business leaders to deliver actionable insights.

This person will,

  • Develop and execute the data platform analytics technical strategy and roadmap of capabilities ensuring scalability, reliability, reusability, observability, security, and performance.

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of our data analytics infrastructure, including monitoring, performance optimization, and cost management.

  • Lead complex analytics projects and initiatives leveraging data visualization, artificial intelligence, and advanced statistical methods to support organizational goals.

  • Lead development and enhancements of analytic solutions and statistical models, and advanced analytic capabilities.

  • Act as the primary liaison for key vendor relationships, ensuring alignment with organizational needs and effective utilization of external resources.

  • Lead development and enhancements of data analytics team capabilities utilizing data, analytics, and visualization.

  • Build and enable Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity Plan capabilities for the platform.

  • Implement and enhance best practices, including automation, monitoring, and deployment workflows.

Requirements

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Analytics, Statistics, or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience Required

  • Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Analytics, Statistics, or related field Preferred

Experience

  • 5-6 years of experience leading high performing teams focused on data analytics and platform management Required

  • 5-6 years of experience with data analytics tools such as Tableau and Power BI, and data languages such as SQL and Python Required

  • 3-5 years of experience Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, Snowflake) Required

  • 3-5 years of experience with Snowflake. Preferred

  • 3-5 years of proficiency in Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform and Cloud Formation. Preferred

  • 3-5 years of experience strong understanding of Dev-Ops principles and DataOps tools, including Airflow, Kafka, and Spark. Preferred

  • 3-5 years of experience with ELT/ETL processes, data management principles, and cloud security best practices and knowledge and experience of machine learning. Preferred
