Position Description:

The Electronic Waste Processing Technician is responsible for assisting the crew with unloading/loading-trucks, operating light equipment, processing a wide variety of electronics for recycling, and practicing good housekeeping. In addition, the Processing Technician will learn and perform duties in the electronics de-manufacturing facility and the shredding area, as well as, perform any other duties as assigned by their supervisor.

Responsibilities:

* Ensure that all Health and Safety policies and procedures are followed.

* Operate light and heavy equipment such as hand power tools, and forklifts.

* Load/unload trucks and trailers of all types including dry van trailers, straight trucks, and roll-off containers.

* Process, shred, and package materials.

Requirements:

* Must be able to work on a rotating shift schedule and work overtime as needed including nights, weekends, and holidays

* High school diploma or GED, preferred

* Knowledge of forklift operation a plus

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills

* Strong organizational, detail-orientation, and prioritization skills

* Ability to walk, stand, sit, and climb

* Ability to lift/carry 50lbs

* Ability to work from heights and in confined spaces

* Qualify to wear a full-face respirator

* Consistently work in various weather conditions
