We are seeking Building Services Workers for our state-of-the-art community center. This role offers a flexible work schedule of 25 hours per week with a pay rate of 15.34/hour. The Building Services Worker is a key member of the Kroc team, responsible for delivering excellent customer service while supporting the organization's programs and mission. This role primarily involves setting up, tearing down, and changing over equipment for events and programs, as well as performing groundskeeping, light maintenance, and housekeeping duties. Responsibilities include operating landscaping and maintenance equipment, assisting with facility-related tasks, ensuring cleanliness, handling deliveries, and maintaining safety protocols. The position requires strong communication skills, a collaborative attitude, and the ability to support overall building operations efficiently. The position includes paid time off with 10 days of vacation per year, 12 sick days per year (4 of which can be taken like vacation days), 12 paid holidays, 2 personal days, and the ability to earn an additional 2 days of PTO through our wellness program. SUMMARY/PRIMARY PURPOSE: The Building Services Worker is a collaborative member of the overall Kroc team focused on providing excellent customer service to internal and external customers in support of the programs and mission of the Kroc. This role emphasizes setup/tear down and groundskeeping duties and support to other team members to ensure effective operations. This job is performed in a busy community center environment which includes but is not limited to a typical office setting, a gymnasium, an aquatics center, and event spaces. The building is climate controlled and most work will be done at normal room temperature, however some work areas may be more humid or of variable temperature based on the activities taking place at the time. The noise level in this work environment can range from low to loud. For other duties of this job, such as groundskeeping and other outdoor maintenance duties, the employee may be exposed to weather conditions prevalent at the time. The noise level in the work environment when outdoors can again range from low to loud. This position requires the employee be available to work days, weeknights, weekends, and holidays as required.
