Job Summary / General Purpose: The Insurance Coordinator will work with our internal and external partners to limit, manage or mitigate liability and exposure. In this role, you will be reviewing insurance provisions within contracts and associated certificate of insurance (COI) for varying types of businesses and energy industry business segments; actioning surety bond requests and renewals as well as associated invoice management; incoming and outgoing insurance certificate requests; overseeing the COI expiration/cancellation processes; managing vehicle registrations; risk engineering data and process management; special projects as well as supporting our claims efforts. The insurance program is dynamic and evolving, which allows for professional development and growth. Major Duties / Responsibilities: * Review incoming insurance certificates for accuracy and compliance; update IT systems and interested parties accordingly * Produce and manage outgoing certificates of insurance * Manage insurance review of terminal/plant access, transportation & delivery, contractor/vendor services agreements and associated onboardings * Oversee renewal/expiration/cancellation processes for insurance certificates * Assist customers and company personnel with insurance related inquiries * Perform work related to the business automobile program and rolling stock * Maintain bond inventory of $23M + * Manage bond renewals * Review surety bond requests and submit to broker * Review, reconcile, and submit bond invoices for payment * Perform work related to risk engineering surveys * Short to long term projects Education / Experience / Skill Requirements: * Associate degree or equivalent experience * Insurance experience preferred * Excellent verbal and written communication skills * Outstanding customer service skills * Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) 2+ years' database maintenance experience * Salesforce proficiency or technical acumen to learn and become proficient * Excellent time and organizational management * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment * Well organized and successfully manages work from beginning to end, meeting deadlines Why Join Us:
