As a result, a full-time position is available for a highly motivated Senior Airport Civil Engineer to join our Aviation team at our Fargo, ND office.

Responsibilities include:

• Designing and leading aviation engineering projects
• Evaluating and analyzing existing projects
• Preparing reports, budgets, cost estimates, specifications, plans, schedules, studies, and permits
• Leading proactive client interactions and communications with aviation clients
• Performing QA/QC tasks including leading design reviews
• Serving as the project manager and mentoring project staff
• Serving as the onsite project engineer on construction projects

A valid driver's license, the ability to pass a background check for badging at airports, and some travel will be required.

The successful candidate must have all the following:

• A bachelor's degree or higher in civil engineering or related field from an accredited college or university
• At least 12 years of relevant work experience
• PE license in the state of North Dakota, or the ability and willingness to become registered within 3 months of hire

The ideal candidate will have experience with any/all the following:

• Familiarity with FAA Standard Specifications
• Familiarity with FAA Advisory Circulars and Design Standards
• Experience with Airport Engineering
• Experience with AutoCAD or Civil 3D
