Group Human Resources Leader, Residential and Irrigation Flow - Golden Valley, MN

We have an opportunity for a Group Human Resources Leader, Residential and Irrigation Flow to join our Golden Valley, MN team. You will play a critical role in driving strong business performance through progressive talent and culture practices within the Commercial & Infrastructure Flow Business Unit. Reporting to the Segment CHRO, this role is the HR partner to the Business Unit President and their leadership team. The role provides comprehensive and strategic HR leadership in a variety of areas including leadership coaching, organization design, change management, talent management, development planning, talent acquisition, compensation, and employee relations. The role will directly lead a team of 3 HR Generalists in the US and Germany and indirectly the HR teams across four plant locations.

You will:

  • Partner with senior leaders to define the necessary HR plans required to successfully execute the business strategies and deliver results across a global business unit.
  • Assess organizational performance systemically, define talent gaps and propose HR solutions that support business objectives.
  • Collaborate with leaders on talent management and development initiatives to attract, develop and retain high-performing talent. Proactively coach leaders on performance management, employee development, talent planning and engagement.
  • Provide outstanding leadership to the HR team.
  • Support and guide organizational design activities to streamline and implement new organization structures, roles and/or processes that enhance speed and efficiency throughout the organization.
  • Collaborate across the HR organization to drive continuous improvement of HR processes.
  • Assist in exempt recruitment activities to drive talent acquisition process.
  • Lead the Enterprise talent strategy for development of the Sales function.

Key Qualifications:

  • A bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration or related discipline
  • At least 10 years of progressive professional HR experience with at least three years of team leadership experience
  • Able to think strategically and translate strategies into actionable plans.
  • Be an excellent communicator to various levels within an organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive transformation through multiple levels of an organization.
  • Experience working international with both blue and white collar workers.
  • Experience working with works councils and unions domestically and internationally.
  • Strong business acumen and an analytical mindset
  • Be results-oriented with proven ability to follow through while managing multiple and competing priorities.
  • Experience leading an HR function for manufacturing, supply chain or other domestic hourly populations.
  • Experience supporting cross functional teams such as Sales, Product Management, Marketing, Engineering and others.
  • Experience in driving employee engagement through COE tools and experience down to the lowest levels of the organization.
  • Solid project leadership and execution skills
  • Occasional travel may be required (<10%).

Compensation:

For this full-time position working at this location, the anticipated annualized base pay range will be from $149000 - $276700 / year. At Pentair, it is not typical for an individual to be hired near the bottom or top of the pay range. Pentair considers various factors in determining actual compensation for this position at the expected location. Actual compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, work location, and other relevant business or organizational needs.

This position may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as, annual incentive bonus.
