We are seeking a dynamic and forward-thinkingBusiness Development Directorto lead our North America prospecting efforts and redefine how we acquire new opportunities. This role is pivotal in driving bothinbound and outbound prospecting strategies, automating prospecting playbooks, and scaling these processes globally to reduce the cost of acquiring new opportunities. The ideal candidate will work closely with ourRevenue and Growth Marketing Teamand leverage cutting-edge tools such as6sense, Demandbase, Salesloft, ZoomInfo, Nooks, and User Gemsto build a scalable, data-driven prospecting engine and execute on the people end.

What You'll Do:

  • Prospecting Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy for inbound and outbound prospecting, ensuring alignment with company growth goals.
  • Playbook Automation and Optimization: Design, implement, and continuously improve automated prospecting playbooks to enhance efficiency and scalability.
  • Regional Scaling: Adapt and scale prospecting strategies to meet the needs of diverse markets and regions worldwide.
  • Collaboration with Growth Marketing and Marketing Ops: Partner closely with the Growth Marketing Team and Marketing Operations to align on campaigns, messaging, and lead generation strategies.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Leverage tools like 6sense, DemandBase, and ZoomInfo to analyze data, identify trends, and optimize prospecting efforts.
  • Cost Efficiency: Identify opportunities to reduce the cost of acquiring new opportunities while maintaining or improving lead quality.
  • Team Enablement: Provide training and resources to the business development and sales teams to ensure consistent execution of prospecting playbooks.
  • Reporting and Inspection: Utilize SFDC to report on/inspect the results of prospecting plays and other programs
  • Communication and Stakeholder Management: Act as the "Lead" business partner to SMB Sales Leadership and be responsible for internal comms and enablement related to Marketing's SMB pipeline strategy

What You'll Bring:

  • Proven experience in a senior business development or sales leadership role, with a focus on prospecting and lead generation.
  • Strong understanding of both inbound and outbound prospecting methodologies.
  • Broad knowledge in using tools such as6sense, DB, Salesloft, ZoomInfo, Nooks, and User Gems.
  • Demonstrated success in automating and scaling prospecting processes globally.
  • Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with experience working closely with marketing teams.
  • A forward-thinking mindset, with a passion for leveraging technology and innovation to drive results.
