We are currently seeking a Senior IT Computer Network Support Specialist to support our Patuxent River, MD customer. The incumbent will provide direct IT support to the PEO(T) Admiral and staff. The Senior IT Computer Network Support Specialist will also process non-IT Special Projects, Tasks and support PMA related requirements to include training all new PEO(T) PMA NMCI IT POC's in all aspects of their job. They will act as the Senior IT Consultant for any problem or question a PMA IT POC might have and back up the Program Office and any other PEO(T) PMA as needed.

Duties:



  • Maintain both the PEO(T) Secure conference room and SIPR cafe
  • Manage NMCI asset inventory for all PEO(T) & Air 1.0 PMA's
  • Supports a two-star Admiral his SES Deputy and PEO(T) Staff along with 10 PEO(T) PMA's in the PEO(T) portfolio with NMCI IT/IM & many other duties as needed and as assigned
  • Perform timely liaison with PMA leadership, PMA team members and PMA IT POC's
  • Interfaces with the NMCI support vendor (HP) on multiple IT issues to assist in a timely resolution in all aspects of information technology problems. Tests results to ensure corrective action has resolved the issues.
  • Assist all PEO(T) NMCI POC's with all aspects of IT to include documentation creation, develop fixes for unique problems and assist in support of their PMA team members
  • Manage all PEO(T) COMSEC gear to include SIPRNet & Secure video teleconferences for PEO(T) Admiral and Staff
  • Acts as secondary security officer for PEO(T) Staff Security


Required Experience:



  • 10+ years of experience. A senior-level person typically works on high-visibility or mission-critical aspects of a given program and performs all functional duties independently. A senior-level person may oversee the efforts of less senior staff and/or be responsible for the efforts of all staff assigned to a specific job.


Required Education:



  • Master's Degree with allowable substitutions.
  • Professional certifications (MCSE, A+, etc...) preferred.


Allowable Substitution:

Bachelor's Degree plus two (2) years additional work experience performing duties described in the functional description of the labor category may be substituted for a Master's Degree. OR Associate's Degree plus four (4) years of additional work experience performing duties described in the functional description of the labor category may be substituted for a Master's Degree. Six (6) years additional work experience performing duties described in the functional description of the labor category may be substituted for a Master's Degree.

Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance. Due to the sensitivity of customer-related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.

Compensation at Precise Systems is determined by various factors, including education, experience, skills, competencies, and contract-specific requirements. The salary range for this position is $94,809.44 to $148,678.44 (annualized USD). This range represents the standard pay for this role and is just one component of Precise Systems' total compensation package.
