As a Lab Tech Assistant you will work under the general supervision of the laboratory supervisor, by supporting the Clinical Laboratory Scientists and Technologists in the performance of duties associated with the technical areas of the laboratory and all tasks involved in the processing and handling of specimens in the Clinical and Anatomic areas of the laboratory.

Position: Lab Technical Assistant
Shift: Days- Flexible start times- 10am-6:30p or 11a-7:30p- no weekends or holidays

Experience:
1. Minimum three years relevant laboratory experience working in anatomic or clinical pathology laboratory setting.
2. One year must be with Main Line Health Laboratories performing duties and responsibilities in 2 laboratory departments.
3. Working knowledge of medical information systems preferred.

Education:
1. Associates degree preferred.
2. High school graduate or equivalent required.

Licensures/Certifications:
Certification as a medical assistant or related field preferred.
