Who Makes A Highly Successful Consultant?
As a future Senior Consultant on our Organizational Resilience Team, we are looking for an established professional with experience in Business Continuity, Disaster Recovery, Crisis Management, and/or Incident Management. A promising candidate should have a strong background helping clients and / or organizations build and sustain Organizational Resilience programs, including but not limited to conducting business impact analyses and risk assessments, developing continuity and recovery plans, implementing and / or managing technical disaster recovery solutions, and conducting applicable tests and exercises.

The Senior Consultant will work as part of a larger project team and will lead and execute the development of innovative solutions. In addition, any prospective candidate can demonstrate a strong background in project and team management and business development support.
How you will contribute:
Every day is different, and your work environment will be dynamic. But here is a list of activities you can expect to experience and tasks you will accomplish:
  • Lead and / or support a project team of three to five other consultants and / or organizational resilience subject matter experts, driving and implementing client projects end-to-end
  • Perform business impact analyses or risk assessments
  • Develop continuity and recovery strategies
  • Analyze, evaluate, and recommend technical solutions for clients from a wide array of industries (e.g., pharma, healthcare, public sector, higher education)
  • Develop business continuity and / or disaster recovery plans to recover critical business processes and / or critical business applications and services
  • Develop, coordinate, and conduct test & exercise initiatives, including working sessions, table-top exercises, functional and / or technical tests, and full-scale exercises
  • Manage client projects, including oversight of the internal project team and project plan, and serve as the primary day-to-day client contact for the firm

  • Experience leading - and working as part of - project teams
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to solve problems in an ever-changing environment
  • Experience designing, developing, maintaining, and exercising / testing of Organizational Resilience plans
  • Experience leading and / or supporting technology assessments and implementations using proven methodologies
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree (e.g., Information & Technology Management, Business, Finance)
  • 2 years or more of relevant experience
  • Thorough knowledge and understanding of current business continuity and disaster recovery planning principles and methodologies
  • Working knowledge of disaster recovery tools and technologies
  • Ability to travel, when required
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 4 years or more of relevant experience
  • Related Certifications (e.g., CBCP, CBCI, ISO, FEMA) are a plus
  • Experience in a consulting or professional services role is a plus.

Pursuant to Maryland's Wage Range Transparency Law, the salary range displayed is for the Maryland market. The salary for this role will be based on the experience, education, and skill set of the individual for the position. Positions that are non-exempt will be eligible for overtime pay compensable at a rate of one and a half times the hourly rate for any hours worked over 40 in a work week. Benefits are eligibility-based and could include group health plan benefits, 401(K), profit-sharing contributions, flexible time off, and parental leave.
